Patience, curiosity and a quiet reverence for the natural world

Aaron Chiffers is an artist and designer from the quiet fishing village of Newlyn, Cornwall.

His artworks are intimate studies of the natural world, shaped by a life-long connection to the land and the sea.

‘My artworks are a process of surrendering to slowness and quietness, evoking what I see and feel with tenderness and affection.

It teaches me patience and humility in the face of an ever-cerebral and fast-paced artificial age, restoring a sense of magic and wonder through curiosity and discovery. It conjures a feeling in me that life isn’t meant to be labelled or solved.

When I look closely I find wisdom in nature’s rhythms: nothing rushed, nothing out of place—just quiet abundance and endless diversity. This gives me a profound sense of awe and belonging.’
